If there are services or processes which you would like added or points of contact you feel are missing or inaccurate please contact UFI to provide feedback. We hope to keep this list updated and ensure that it's a useful tool for faculty & staff with facilities needs.
Academic Space Survey - This annual survey is conducted among academic units to collect and address facilities concerns.
Learning Spaces - Supports faculty & students in Registrar-owned classrooms by providing access, service & support to technology resources
ND Work Control Center - Oversees the University's maintenance work order management system, commonly known as "AiM"
Maintenance - Assists University offices, institutes, and departments with building maintenance and small projects
Utilities - Manages the distribution & control of all campus utility services such as electricity, sewer, water and heat.
Risk Management - Manages building, lab and operational safety across the university.
Floor plans / CAD Drawings
UFI maintains physical archives, scanned PDF files, and CAD drawings for most campus buildings. Access to information is available to university faculty, staff, and designated vendors for legitimate business needs. Student access must be sponsored by a faculty member.
Please use print request form to request floor plans or CAD drawings. Typical turnaround time is 1-2 business days. We appreciate your patience.

New Construction / Renovation
Facilities, Design & Operations - This diverse unit oversees the construction, operation, and maintenance of the university infrastructure. Any campus construction or renovation project flows through this office.
Official Building List
UFI maintains the official list of completed university buildings in conjunction with the University Architect.
A comprehensive set of room numbering guidelines are available on our policies & procedures page. These guidelines will allow floor and room numbering and way-finding procedures to be applied consistently to all University buildings. No changes should be made to room numbers by end users without review by University Facilities Information and/or Facilities, Design & Operations staff.
Signage for new construction and renovation is handled as part of the design process. For signage needs outside of new construction or renovation, please refer to the university signage policy for more information on how to order signs and get them installed.
